She is a Brackenridge Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, working on her thesis which investigates the depictions of the Madonna and Child by Baroque artist Artemisia Gentileschi, their contributions to the category of images which they belong to, and the understanding of the artist. She is an intern at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, pursuing her other area of interest, Egyptology, while independently creating a scholarly archive of materials which detail the accessions of the museum’s Egyptian collection.
