Luana Testa

Luana Testa graduated in medicine in 1983, she is a specialist in Medical Genetics and Clinical Psychology. For about 10 years she worked as a researcher in immunogenetics and neuroscience at universities and private institutions. She had worked for 17 years as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in affiliated clinics and as a level I manager in public psychiatric health structures. For thirty years he has been carrying out in private pratice individual and group psychotherapies, making use of decades of training with prof. Massimo Fagioli. She has practised teaching activities in university and professional training courses. She is co-author of national and international publications on topics concerning both her first field of expertise, as a geneticist, and of books on psychiatric clinic, psychotherapy and history of psychiatry and such as Psichiatria e psicoterapia in Italia dall’Unità a oggi, (Psychiatry and psychotherapy in Italy from Unity to today, L’Asino d’oro ed.). Since 2016 she has been a collaborator of the Social Cooperative of Medical Psychotherapy in Rome, of which, since 2020, she is a member.
