Fran Hagstrom

Fran Hagstrom, Ph.D. currently serves as the interim associate dean of the Graduate School and International Education at the University of Arkansas located in Fayetteville, AR, USA. She holds a Ph.D. in psychology from Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts; a master’s degree in language sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas; and a master’s degree in theatre from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri following undergraduate work in speech communications and music. Her doctoral research utilized narrative psychology and socio-cultural theory to reconceptualize creativity. In addition to creativity, she researches language and cognition across the lifespan, the building and loss of personal identity, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
