Biography

Professor Emilio Del Gesso since almost 30 years has been working in the Rome Study Center for the University of Arkansas where he taught for the Fall semester 2002 in the Architecture Faculty in Fayetteville. His teaching is concerned about interdisciplinary method that stress the connections between Culture, Art and Architectonical history. This is the conceptual base of his course on “Art and Culture in Italy”. He published some article on Italian specialized magazines on Art and Architecture. Emilio did teach also for other Rome American program as the one run by Cornell American University. He also has been for a long period curator of important exhibitions for the the A.A.M. Architettura Arte Moderna for contemporary artist and architects as Aymonino, Accardi, Galizia, Frongia, Di Stasio and so on.
