Francesca Alinovi, critique as performance: a source for art history

Francesca Alinovi, in search of the engines of her critical action: performance, dada, comics, graffiti.
A short reading of an art historian inserted in the Academy that became an exponent of a militant critic who immerses herself in creative situations. Passing from an anthropological “participant observation” to the role of curator-artist in the “emphasis” movement, Alinovi changes her language, through the use of interviews, between last 70s and the opening of the 80s. The key to reading Alinovi’s critical action is a direct involvement that absorbs life, and is recognized in her aesthetic selections for performance, dada, comics, graffiti.
